This trick is called the Double-Trapeze Release, here it is.

To do this trick what you want to do is throw a Trapeze, from this point you want to Double onto the Trapeze, then you want to release the counterweight in a downward motion going over your left hand. This is what that looks like.

When you catch it, you want to catch it in your right hand facing inward. After that just bring it back to your hand. That’s the trick.
