The Illuminator is now on sale exclusively at YoTricks.com. After last week’s announcement that we had yo-yos for sale we received a number of emails asking about the Illuminator. Today we are pleased to announce that we now have Illuminators in stock and they are available for immediate purchase from our shop.
The Illuminator is a clear Luminator yo-yo with multicolored lights on each side. The perfect yo-yo for performing or just showing off.

Finally! I’m glad that I can finally get a yo-yo that lights up! One question though- are you able to put weight rings on it like the Luminator without damaging the lights?
Because of the lights there is not enough room for weight rings… however, the lights add almost the exact amount of weight to the yo-yo as the weight rings do. Essentially it feels like the weight rings are built right in.
hey is it possible to get the illuminator at walgreens to???
also are you ever gana teach other divisions like 5A and 4A???
The Illuminator will not be carried by Walgreens. Also, we will eventually get to 4a and 5a tricks, but currently we still have several other projects that have greater priority.
It stinks you can’t buy them at Walgreens*, but it did say they were exclusive to yotricks.com.

hey adam… whats the hardest division in your perspective????
1A is the most competitive for sure because there are the most players competing in that division. In my opinion that makes it the most difficult. In terms of skill… probably 2a. It’s hard to say. I have expiramented the least with 3a and those tricks definitely seem hard to master as well.
what are those thing A4 A5 A1??
Those are the different styles or “plays” of yoyo. There are currently 5 different styles of play.
1A – one hand yoyo-ing (usually just string and picture tricks, although technically includes looping)
2A – two hand looping. just like the two hand tricks we currently have on the site.
3A – two hand string tricks. a bit more complicated than 2A (in my opinion)
4A – Freehand, attaching a counterweight (usually a dice block) to the yoyo so that both yoyo and counter weight can spin freely.
5A – Offstring, where the yoyo actually comes off the string.
At present, YoTricks only provides 1A and 2A videos. We are currently trying to produce a large number of tutorials on these styles of play before we go on to the other styles. In time, we will videos for all 5.

Why does the illuminator have just the word fish on it instead of peterfish.
Does the illuminator have a switch? How do the lights go on?
