This next trick we’re going to show you is called the Leg Wrap. It looks like this.
There are a few things you want to keep in mind when you’re learning this trick.
First, instead of throwing the yo-yo straight down like you normally would, you want to think of throwing it out so that it has enough momentum to carry it around, like this. The second thing is that the trick is much easier to learn if the yo-yo is actually spinning than if you are trying to just do it with a dead yo-yo that’s swinging.
When you do this trick, what you want to think about doing is, as you throw it out, the yo-yo is actually going to come pass through your leg, and you want to let it actually wrap around your leg like this. Only, instead of letting it wrap, you’re going to turn your leg so that the yo-yo will pass through between both of your legs, like that.
When you put it together, it looks like this.
If you practice it enough and you get good at it you can do it with both the right leg and the left leg. Once you get really good you can start to put the tricks together to combine different kinds of combinations. One of my favorite is to combine both the right and left leg together with an around the world in-between. That looks like this.
